Latest Painting

My newest painting, In The Blind, has been accepted into Oshawa Art Association’s Gala Show at the McLaughlin Gallery, in celebration of the gallery’s 50th anniversary. Huge thank you to Chris Rollux of Gemini K9 in Toronto, for being a fantastic model, for taking time out of his training schedule and hauling the equipment I wanted, and the dog I wanted, out to his training fields for photos shoots and sketching.  The dog is Fire van Tiekerhook, and he performed for almost thirty minutes while I got the reference material I wanted.

The show opens April 6 with the evening gala, and continues to April 23.

The painting is 50″ by 38″, almost life sized. Oil on canvas, GamVar varnished, and gold leafed around the edge of the stretcher.
